Do I have to pay extra for the time it takes to set up and tear down?

Absolutely not!! Setup and teardown prices are rolled into the hourly rate so it is already covered! Let's say your party starts at 2pm and ends at 6pm, We would arrive at 1pm to setup, provide service from 2pm-6pm and then pack up afterwards!

Are you a multicultural DJ?

Yes! I have done a wide variety of events ranging from Latinx to Indian and bollywood music even to Russian dance music as well! I enjoy taking time in not only playing other culture's music but diving deep into song choices, the musics structure, along with tailoring music to be specific to every event! Feel free to reach out regarding references of clients I've done multicultural events for!

What if it is going to rain or ends up raining during my booking?

If an outdoor event ends up rained out we offer one rebooking day to postpone the event, if a date cannot be agreed upon or if there has to be a cancellation after one reschedule, the client will forfeit the deposit to the provider(see Legal)

If it ends up raining during an event, depending on how bad it is we may choose to leave. If that is the case the buyer will only pay for the time that the DJ was there rounded to the nearest half hour. 

I want to book for 2 and a half hours, is that okay?

Yes! If you cannot or do not wish to book for time on a full hour, we offer half hour rates which is the half of the total hourly rate!

I want a DJ and lighting but I'd like a DJ for 4 hours and Lighting for 2 Is that okay?

Unfortunately due to the nature of mobile DJ gigs, we provide services such as lighting, uplighting, fog machines, and DJing in a package together meaning they cannot be booked for separate times. However, photography and videography can be booked for a separate amount of time apart from the other services.

Are You LGBTQ+ Friendly?

Absolutely! We have served several LGBTQ+ weddings and we are completely devoted to equality in how we treat all of our clients regardless of race and/or sexuality!

How do I know the DJ won't no-show the gig? What happens if he's sick?

We have a non-refundable booking deposit of 50% the total booking price which is to keep both sides locked in for the gig on a specific date and time. No-shows will not happen as if the DJ cannot make it for some reason, a substitute DJ with similar skill will be hired to complete the booking. If for some reason a substitute isn't available and the main DJ cannot make it, the client will get their deposit back.

Can I cancel and get my deposit back?

Unfortunately the deposits are non-refundable. Due to the nature of mobile DJ gigs, once a deposit is made that day is blocked out for any other potential clients to book. If a client was to cancel that means that the provider would practically lose their job for a day which can be very financially difficult for the provider. That being said if a client were to cancel, the deposit would become financial compensation for the provider. The only time that a deposit is refunded is if the provider cancels for any given reason. What if you get here and I realize I want another hour of service last second? What if I want one less hour of service?

We are happy to add on extra service based on the schedule of the DJ and contractors at the gig. Please understand that this hour will have to be paid for at the full hourly rate still so your final price will end up being higher. As for wanting an hour less of service last second, we can leave early but unfortunately the original contract agreed price will need to be paid to the service provider. 

Do you offer liability insurance for specific gigs?

Yes! If liability insurance is required for an event, we will cover it under NEXT Same-Day Insurance. That being said there will be a non-refundable fee of $80 added (See Legal) to the final bill which covers insurance. (Please note that this is mainly regarding public schools, venues will have their own liability insurance so your event will be covered)

What if someone at my event damages your equipment on accident?

Damages to equipment by anyone at any given event will need to be fixed or replaced at the expense of the client. Please note that while this equipment is tough, it is also extremely expensive and replacement costs could be upwards of $5000 dollars. (See Legal)

Are you kid-friendly?

Yes! I am a family friendly DJ and have done a wide array of events for families and children! This being said please note that we ask any child under the age of 8 years old to be supervised at all times during the event. If a child or group of children is left unsupervised and is putting us or our equipment in jeopardy, we may leave at the expense of the client. Children under the age of 18 are not allowed behind the DJ booth at any given time due to safety concerns.

Should I tip the DJ or contractors?

Tipping is not expected by any means in the DJ industry. That being said if you feel that you were given exceptional service at any given event feel free to tip as you wish and we will greatly accept it!

How reliable is your equipment? What if it fails?

We focus on providing state of the art and industry standard equipment along with our services. Some examples of reputable brands we use are: AlphaTheta DJ, JBL speakers, Shure Microphones, MA lighting, U-King, Proreck, and many more! Using these brands means reliable equipment that is high quality with no drop outs in audio or lighting! On top of that if equipment fails during a gig we bring along backups of core equipment that is needed for the setup!

What will you wear to our event?

Contractors will wear all black to events to stay "hidden in the background" whereas the DJ's outfit will depend of the gig, if it is a casual summer party the DJ may wear a graphic tee with shorts whereas if it is a wedding the DJ will wear a suit to match the environment. If there is something in specific you'd like me to wear you can always request!
